Red Air is a collaboration between First Nations artists Sharon and Kaye Warrie from the Yindjibarndi Nation and Matthew Aberline and Maurice Goldberg from the Goldberg Aberline Studio.
The work is a celebration of the West Australian desert landscape. The Warrie sisters are part of Cheeditha Art, a first nations art collective near Robourne in WA’s Pilbara region. The Goldberg Aberline Studio is famous for their collaborations – having worked worldwide with The United Nations General Assembly, World Pride in New York, many regional galleries in Australia and Sculpture by the Sea at Bondi and Cottesloe.
This body of work has been created over several years – it celebrates Australia’s ancient culture – whilst creating something very new, collaborative and modern.
Enjoy this stunning artwork day or night on Hillarys Boardwalk.
