Carnival Fever (25th Sep – 29th Sept)
The carnival is coming to the harbour, with unlimited rides & attractions for two hours, 3 times daily (10am – 5pm). By wearing a CF wristband enjoy special exclusive offers from Hillarys businesses.

Marine Scientist for a Day @  AQWA (4th, 6th, and 8th Oct) 
This new 3 hour kids program is perfect for those passionate about marine animals and conservation. AQWA’s  ‘Marine Scientist for a Day’ program will generate wonder and respect for our oceans. Hillarys Got Talent (5th to 8th Oct)
Hillarys Boardwalk is presenting the entertainment initiative performed by locals, for locals.

It’s aimed at 6 – 16 year olds keen to showcase a special talent or skill.

Including three heats and a Grand Final, this Hillarys Got Talent is all inclusive and will embrace all young artists & performers who want to participate!

Sustainable Hillarys (25th Sep – 10th Oct)
This spring break Hillarys will be exploring a sustainability theme, including a number of environmentally focused attractions:

ENACTUS ECU Sustainability Festival (25th / 26th Sep)

The Sustainability Festival is an event that unifies the community and builds knowledge and momentum towards a sustainable future.

The Enactus ECU Sustainability Festival aims to raise awareness of environmental economic and social sustainability. By increasing awareness of what a sustainable future looks like, people and businesses can adopt more sustainable practices in their day-to-day activities. Through the Sustainability Festival, Enactus ECU strives to educate and promote sustainable practices while bringing the community together.

What can you expect at the Festival?

  • A fun, informative and dynamic environment for people of all ages to learn about the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and how they relate to our every day lives.
  • interactive workshops to help educate the community on how to better adapt sustainable practices and choices in their daily lives
  • information booths about the impact of your product/services
  • stalls showcasing sustainable products and provide the community the opportunity to purchase

Upcycle workshops (From the tip to the gallery) (25th Sep – 10th Oct)

Mia Skye will conclude each Hillarys Got Talent heat with a fashion show where the garments are made entirely of upcycled materials that would normally hit landfill.  Mia will then host free workshops where participants will be able to create their own upcycled fashion.

Cash for Trash / Containers for Change (25th Sep – 10th Oct)

Tenants and visitors at Hillarys can collect and donate all bottles cans and cartons with the .10c deposit mark for containers for change. At the end of the period, all funds raised will be given to foodbank. Donation points will be dotted around the boardwalk.

Endangered Species Display (Oct 2nd – 3rd)
See a range of our precious, endangered species visiting us at Hillarys Boardwalk.

Discover Hillarys Yacht Club (all Oct)
The school holidays also kick starts the Discover Hillarys Yacht Club promotion. For the whole of October, you have a chance to discover all that Hillarys Yacht Club has to offer, WITHOUT a Club Membership. Members of the public are welcome to come down and experience the benefits of club membership, just as if you were a member!
