Join us at Hillarys Boat Harbour for the Joondalup Festival, featuring the spectacular illuminated artwork, Electric Kingdom! From 2 – 22 March, we will be home to an exciting range of immersive shows and activities, from art, music, comedy, and everything in between. Check out the awesome variety of events below!
What’s On
This one-of-a-kind electrifying extravaganza will be a true feast for the eyes! Electric Kingdom is a free family-friendly event running every night of Joondalup festival. Wander along illuminated paths admiring glowing giants as they roam and react to the crowd!
When: on every night of Joondalup Festival, from Saturday 2 March – Friday 22 March.
Friday and Saturday: 6.00pm – 10.00pm
Sunday – Thursday: 6.00pm – 9.00pm
The Tourists
A wonderfully wacky immersive comedy, see if you can spot The Tourists out and about around the harbour!

Turtle Talk Tuesdays
Visit the Snake-Necked Turtle, or Yaakan, on Tuesday evenings, plus learn all about these fascinating creatures from a local zoologist and science communicator.

Neon Nights
Inspired by the glowing animals of Electric Kingdom, Pinot & Picasso are hosting a special series of painting workshops under UV light!

Sip It & Sea: Coral, Clay & Chardonnay

In two incredible music performances, the Joondalup Community Choir will be a splendid showcase of talent in front of Electric Kingdom’s illuminated falcon.

Sip it & Sea: Dive into Watercolour
Dive into the wonderful world of watercolour and paint an underwater creature in this creative workshop by House of Hobby, all whilst enjoying drinks and nibbles!
