The AQWA Volunteer Beach Clean Up is running this WA Day public holiday, Monday 5 June from 8am-10am as part of their celebrations for World Ocean Day 🌏🌊
Littered harbours and beaches can have devastating effects for our marine life and other coastal fauna. Its time to take action for our ocean and clean-up the waste!

  • Volunteer opportunity to help clean-up Sorrento Beach and Hillary Boat Harbour
  • Rubbish bags, recycling bags, sunscreen and light refreshments provided
  • 10% off AQWA entry for all registered volunteers

AVAILABILITY AND BOOKINGS:

Monday 5 June 2023, 8am – 10am

Please register your intention to attend and help up out by selecting the number of participants, click ”Register Now” and follow the prompts. There is of course no charge/cost, this is just the registration process.

All members of the community welcome, however some areas of the terrain may be challenging for children of mobility impaired persons.

Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

GOOD TO KNOW:

  • Please bring/wear enclosed non-slip shoes, a hat, drink bottle and your own gloves (gardening or thick rubber for protection)
  • Meet at 8am in front of AQWA Function Centre, to the right of the main stairs (follow the signs): 91 Southside Drive Hillarys
  • AQWA will provide rubbish bags, recycling bags, chilled water to top up your bottles and light refreshments
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • 10% off coupon will provided at the end of the clean-up when you return to AQWA. 1 per registered volunteer.
